"You're getting married?" Deborah asked, shocked.
"Yes, Mom. Please be happy for me. Now I know why the other relationships never worked out. Lily is the woman I am meant to be with for the rest of my life. We have so much in common. She's incredible."
Caroline's announcement threw her off guard. "Of course, I'm happy for you, honey. It's just that your news about getting married has taken me by surprise. Give me a minute to let it sink in," she said with a smile and then realized Caroline couldn't see her facial expressions. "I am thrilled for you, honey," she said mustering as much excited emotion as she could force into her voice.
"Well, in my case, I think it'll be fun to give up some of my creature comforts for a couple of days just to be totally alone with you." She flashed a wicked smile. "If I get bored, then you can be my toy. I can think of a lot of ways to have fun playing with you."
Emma licked her lips. "Such a wicked one-track mind you have, but I must admit that it would be my pleasure submitting to all your desires." Her eyes roamed up and down Vanessa's pantyhose-clad legs. "Do you have any idea how hot I get just looking at you? How excited I get every time I hear your key in the door?"
Shondra was still in shock after seeing Kassie McAlister in the flesh on the beach. She was breathtakingly beautiful. She was at a loss as to how to approach Kassie. "Ian wants me to get rid of it…he thinks my grandmother was crazy."
