Her eyes widened. "Neither do I, Stel."

Stella eyed her warily. "Loneliness can sometimes make a person react

uncharacteristically. Take the time to get to know Molly. She loves a lot of the same things you do, reading, poetry and she loves the theater almost as much as you do."

"I want to know her, Stel," Alex said quietly as they observed Molly heading toward them with a wide grin on her pretty face. "I won’t ever hurt her. You know that. And thank you for not mentioning Chelsea to her."

Stella squeezed her elbow. "I know you wouldn’t deliberately hurt anyone, sweetie, but still be careful."

 Alex would have preferred continuing to talk to her alone, but reluctantly followed noticing what a nice ass she had. With every curve in the right place, she was clad in a pair of tight-fitting jeans and a low-scooped blouse. Her body was slim, but her arms and legs were muscular and Alex attributed that to carrying the heavy mailbags while walking her route. Her femininity couldn’t be denied though. The perfume she wore was light and pleasantly filled Alex’s nostrils.

Alex found she wanted to know more about this enchanting woman and couldn’t wait to get Stella alone to ask her about Molly. Her heart began to flutter and she ignored the red flag her mind put up. It wouldn’t be the first time she was attracted to a straight woman. She even managed to date a couple and quickly had her heart broken when they returned to their straight lifestyle.

Instinctively, Alex grabbed her hands. "I'm sorry, Molly. I didn't mean to make you upset."

Chelsea stirred and slowly opened her eyes. "What time is it?" she asked, leisurely stretching as she pushed a strand of her long, silky blonde hair from her shoulder.   

"Early." Alex continued staring at her. She rested a hand on Chelsea's thigh and willed herself to feel something…anything. Chelsea's petite body looked vulnerable lying there, almost like a child.
