Saturday's Excerpt – Katra

Katra wasn’t interested in the surprise. She wanted her question answered, but before she could say another word, the screen was filled with the image of Lily slowly unbuttoning her blouse. Katra swallowed hard. The unanswered question could wait for now. Her eyes stayed glued to the screen. She’d had phone sex before, but never on a video chat. This was new and could prove to be very interesting. Her eyes stayed focused on Lily’s fingers as they sensuously undid the buttons on her silky blouse. Katra suddenly realized that the shadows had faded from Lily’s chest, but were still hiding her face. Her pulse quickened.

Lily took her time removing the blouse, enticing Katra. When Lily finally slid it over her firm shoulders, her perky medium sized breasts filled the screen. "Do you like these?" she asked seductively as she slowly massaged them.

Katra licked her lips. "Yes," she whispered hoarsely, overcome with desire as she watched Lily’s large nipples harden. Katra longed to be touching them, bringing them into her mouth. Her throat dried out as she continued to watch. She grew wet and a slow burn forced her to shift her position in her chair. She swallowed hard again as her heart pounded against her chest.

"Would you like to touch them, Katra?" Lily asked in a voice that the app made sound slightly throaty and desirable.

Sweat formed on Katra’s brow. "Yes," she said hoarsely. "Tell me who you are. I don’t want to wait."

"Soon... very soon. I’ll have more for you tomorrow night. I’ll be here at nine."
Before Katra could respond, Lily was gone.

Saturday's New Excerpt – Partners: Winds Of Fire

Frankie lay naked on her back as Johanna sensuously rubbed oil into her flesh. She sighed contentedly as she stared at the twinkling stars visible through the skylight. The rest of the room was illuminated with candles. She loved the feel of Johanna's fingertips gently massaging her skin. Her body came alive with the slightest touch from her. She inhaled deeply as her body involuntarily twitched.

Johanna straddled her body over Frankie's. "I love having total control," she whispered, reaching a hand to where Frankie's wrists were secured to the bedposts.

"And I love totally submitting to you," Frankie whispered hoarsely.

"Do you trust me?"

"With my life," she answered as she tried to close her mouth over one of Johanna's breasts, which was so tantalizing close. She flicked her tongue, just grazing the nipple. She saw the desire instantly appear in Johanna's eyes.

Saturday's New Excerpt – Partners: Winds Of Fire

"You've gone quiet." Frankie took her elbow as they made their way to the car. "What's going on in that beautiful head of yours?"

"Something's not right, Frankie."

Frankie's eyes slanted. "You think?"

"I want to contact past and present friends of Kendall's."

Frankie turned her head and looked at her. "From what Alec said, she never confided in anyone. Now that would be a waste of time and effort."

"I suppose you're right. It was just a thought. I'll put it on the back burner for now." Johanna pursed her lips. "You know we won't be happy until Thatcher gets nailed for more than screwing around on his wife. And we want to be a part of his take down."

"I know, hon, but we keep rehashing the same thing over and over. Let's take it one step at a time. Alec knows we'll uncover more. He expects nothing less from us." She grinned wryly.

Saturday's New Excerpt – Partners: Winds Of Fire

She crossed to the window and peered out into the peaceful and serene darkness. She didn't take anything for granted anymore. How quickly everything could change from one second to the next. She'd almost lost Johanna at the hands of that monster Carson Fellows. Johanna's life had almost been snuffed out that night and there was nothing Frankie could have done to protect her. She'd never forget the overwhelming helplessness she'd felt. She tried to erase the disturbing images of Johanna in the clutches of that monster from her mind. She was fine during the day, but as soon as darkness fell the memories flooded back, almost consuming her.

Frankie felt no closure even with Fellows' death. It was as though he was still reaching out from the grave waiting for the perfect time to strike again. It unsettled her. She couldn't share her feelings with anyone—especially not Johanna. She hoped the backyard renovation would not only chase away Johanna's lingering demons, but her own as well.
